Tile / Grout Cleaning & Grout Color Change
Tile & grout accumulate soil, oils and contaminants brought in from the outside environment, as well as, spills, pet traffic, foot traffic and cooking. The grout line is recessed below the tile level making it difficult for the homeowner to remove the accumulation of deposit by conventional cleaning. Soils and spills build up in the grout line and on the surface of the tiles that require professional cleaning. We use a three step process that removes this buildup.
First, we apply a base cleaning agent that is scrubbed into the grout line that breaks loose the accumulated soil and oils, then use Hot Water extraction to remove these contaminants from the grout and tile surface. We process through the next two step, but with different agents, as we did with the first step. This process restores your tile and grout to like new condition. Remember, grout is concrete, so it is porous and stains can penetrate down into the grout line which we can not remove. This is were color correcting will cover these stains. We can also use this same color process to completely change the grout color in just one room or throughout your entire home.
