We use Hot Water Extraction as our method of on location carpet, Upholstery and Drapery cleaning, also known as Steam Cleaning. This is the only on-location cleaning method that has a rinse process. The rinse step of cleaning is the step that removes the soils, oils and contaminates that have accummulated in your textiles. As with anything you clean, you can apply all the soap you want, which breaks up these deposits, it is the rinse step of cleaning that removes all of the deposits.
We use Microban Carpet Sanitizer to clean carpet, upholstery and draperies. This is an EPA registered sanitizing agent for carpet. Carpets cleaned with CCS will have bacterial and fungal content drop
significantly. Conventional cleaning detergents only remove soil, but Microban Clean Carpet Sanitizer contains three antimicrobial agents to reduce and control the growth micro-organisms, bacteria, and fungi including dust mites, aspergillums, H1N1, and penicillin as well as odor
counteractants to neutralize unpleasant malodors. Microban Clean Carpet Sanitizer is a fungistatic, bacteriostatic, and deodorizing cleaner. Routine cleaning with CCS will produce cleaner, fresher carpets that continue to kill odor-causing microorganisms and deodorize to extend the life of the carpet. Microban’s technology has been tested and used in thousands of facilities and hospitals, and is now available for use in residential settings. You can now get the added benefit of having your textiles sanitized as well as cleaned.
We clean carpet with either an RX-20 or DriMaster Rotary machine, neither have brushes on the bottom to frey the fibers. These rotary machines operate at 130 rpm, delivering an optimal cleaning process to all carpet fibers types and design.
We have a filtering systems attached to our truckmount to deliver only soft water into your home for the cleaning process. The use of soft water and our rotary machine guarantees soft, fluffy fibers that have been cleaned and sanitized.
Our process, besides cleaning and sanitizing, includes the application of Teflon Advanced Fabric Protector. We do not charge extra for this, our prices are all inclusive. We also offer MicroSeal protector at an addition cost to you that does not fracture and wear off. This protector is absorbed into the fiber with about a 10 year live to continue protecting the textile. It is not removed from the textile by any cleaning process like Teflon Advanced.
The last step in each room is the grooming or resetting the nap on the carpet fibers, then a carpet dryer ( Airpath ) is placed in the middle of the room to promote faster drying.
